VECTOR 004は、MEGANEROCKがまだセルロイドで作成されていた際に人気だった”TARSIER(メガネザル)”というモデルを、VECTORシリーズの製法で復活したモデルになります。
新作はサングラスで、ミルキーグレーにはブルーグレーのレンズ、飴色にはグレーのレンズ、ライトグリーンにはグリーングレーのレンズになります。
メガネザルをイメージした丸みがあるフォルムと、太めのブリッジが特徴。
VECTOR 004はMEGANEROCKのモデルの中でも、大きめのフォルムになります。
テンプルには強度をもたすため骨となる金属製の芯が埋め込まれており、芯はVECTORを象徴する矢印になっています。
鼻あてはセパレートタイプで、日本人にもかけやすいタイプになります。
眼鏡の素材に使われているのは、植物繊維であるアセテート。
綿花と高純度パルプから作られたアセテートは、柔らかく靭やかで、肌に優しく、アレルギーが少なく、直接付けた際温かみを感じることができます。

This is MEGANEROCK's VECTOR 004.
It comes in three colors: milky gray, amber, and light green. (From top to bottom in the first photo)
VECTOR 004 is a revival of the "TARSIER" model, which was popular when MEGANEROCK was still made of celluloid, using the VECTOR series manufacturing method.
The new model is a pair of sunglasses, with blue-gray lenses for the milky gray, gray lenses for the amber, and green-gray lenses for the light green.
It features a rounded shape inspired by tarsiers and a thick bridge.
VECTOR 004 is a larger model among MEGANEROCK models.
The temples are embedded with a metal core that acts as a bone to provide strength, and the core is shaped like an arrow, which symbolizes VECTOR.
The nose pads are separate, making them easy for Japanese people to wear.
The material used for the glasses is acetate, a plant fiber.
Acetate, made from cotton and high-purity pulp, is soft and flexible, gentle on the skin, hypoallergenic, and warm when worn directly.
The glasses from this brand have a deep luster due to polishing, and are as beautiful as works of art. They are also lightweight and easy to wear even if you wear them for a long time.
